Farmers Weekly - The Big Debate

Do you know a young person in farming who might benefit from attending the Oxford Farming Conference in January 2008?

Farmers Weekly and the OFC are giving away five places at the event to the best contributors of our BIG DEBATE. We've had a great response to this initiative from general farming folk but we are particularly looking for participation from 21-35 year-olds in the agricultural industry.

The BIG DEBATE question is: Have the past 50 years left a good or bad legacy for UK farming? All views are welcome.

Winners receive full access to the two day conference in Oxford, 2-3 January 2008. Of particular interest will be the "Fresh Thinking" panel of young farmers chaired by the BBC's Declan Curry.

They will also get an invitation to attend the speakers' and scholars' reception, a ticket to the pre-conference dinner, accommodation (including breakfast) in the halls of one of the famous old Oxford University colleges and dinner with Bayer CropScience.
